Facebook: It is now possible to copy AND paste a comment into an FB 'Like' form...ending the world's most anal Facebook rule of all time...

Breaking Facebook

it is now possible to actually copy and paste a comment into an FB 'Like' form...thereby ending the world's most fucking anal Facebook rule of all time, and enabling Facebook users to complete both sections of the formerly dangerous process called Copy  and Paste which was thought could possibly contribute to OVERLIKE OR SPAMLIKE OR EXTRALIKE, but which finally has been lifted in a ballsy social networking demonstration of trust by its corporate office and Mark Zuckerberg.

Zuckerberg said about the move today,

'I think that we overestimated the damage that a copy and pasted sentence or lazy comment would cause in the social networking socialsphere and after a major in-house study realized that people were simply going to be pasting what they had copied from Facebook seconds before they liked a post.  This seems obvious but initially we were worried that many people would just paste something copied from somewhere else, which might possibly not be appropriate to the 'liked' item thereby causing a breakdown in the 'like' process and creating disingenuous 'like's or worse 'pasted likes not relevant to the subject matter we host'

During our study 8 out of 10 participants actually pasted the exact name of the title of the post which they had just 'liked' and  the remaining 20% pasted whatever was in their mouse (which we had foreseen as a possibility from the inception of the like qualification posts.

While these are not perfect numbers, we're hoping that with time, we can bring awareness to a more social 'like' afterpost, thereby providing a stronger more 'likeable' like for a more positive UI and Experience on Facebook'--Mark Zuckerberg
